Provably fair

Sealed before you buy.
Provable after you rip.

Every Trophy Box is a real, physical card (or pack of cards) that we build, photograph, and seal before it ever goes on sale. Nothing is decided when you click — you’re choosing a sealed pack, exactly like pulling one off a shelf.

How the lock works

1 · We commit

When a pack is sealed, we take its exact contents in order, add a secret random value (the “salt”), and run it through SHA-256 — a one-way cryptographic fingerprint. That fingerprint is published with the pack before purchase. It cannot be reverse-engineered to peek at the cards, and the contents cannot be changed without changing the fingerprint.

2 · You rip

Buying assigns you one of the sealed packs. Ripping reveals the cards one at a time — the same cards, in the same order, that were sealed in step 1.

3 · We reveal the salt

The moment your last card flips, we hand you the salt. Now you can recompute the fingerprint yourself and confirm it matches what was published before you paid. If even one card had been swapped, the hashes wouldn’t match.

Check any rip yourself

Paste the values from any completed rip. The math runs in your browser — not on our servers — so there’s nothing to take on trust.

The rest of the deal

Comp values shown at reveal are our good-faith market comps at the time the pack was built. Sell-back offers are a stated percentage of comp by category and stand for 72 hours after the reveal — with a live countdown on your account and a reminder before the window closes. Choose Ship It to keep a card; if the window ends undecided, the card sells back automatically at its full offer and the credit lands in your Headline Rewards instantly, spendable online or in the shop.
